Oregon Environmental Council takes your privacy seriously and is committed to protecting the privacy of donors and subscribers. OEC will not sell, rent, or give away your contact information to anyone under any circumstances.

Collection of Information

The only personal information we collect is the information web visitors voluntarily enter into our forms to request information.

Because protecting your personal information is important to OEC, we use the highest levels of Internet security and encryption possible to ensure that your online transactions are safely guarded. When you donate or place an order on our web site, all of your information is encrypted by AES-256 256-bit Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software to assure you that communications between your browser and our site's web servers are private and secure.

OEC does not retain any of your credit card information in our system or database. All credit card details are processed by an outside verification and payment processing service in a secure environment.
