Research Director
Colin Price joined Oregon Environmental Council as Research Director in March 2009. Currently, he is working to increase the implementation of green chemistry and use of safer chemicals in Oregon. In addition, he works to identify and evaluate agricultural greenhouse gas mitigation strategies. He is versed in a variety of primary and secondary research methods and has experience conducting surveys, stakeholder interviews, and market studies, as well as performing geo-spatial and statistical analysis.
Prior to joining Oregon Environmental Council, Colin worked as an environmental scientist with private consulting firms. He earned a Master of Urban and Regional Planning degree from Portland State University in 2008, where he received the American Institute of Certified Planners Outstanding Student Award. He has an undergraduate degree in environmental sciences is from the University of Arizona.
