Jared Ishkanian

Hailing originally from Maine, Jared has been steadily making his way westward since college in search of fresh snow and exploring the great outdoors. He comes to OEC from Snowbird Ski Resort in Utah where he served as the Public Relations Director, helping the mountain garner international media exposure and launching its social media programs. 

Jared volunteers in a communications capacity for the Human Outreach Project/World Wide Trekking, and for the Oregon Chapter of the American Marketing Association. 

Jared holds a B.A. in English and American History from Middlebury College in Vermont. In his free time, he can be found running in Forest Park, chasing music around Portland and standing in line for tamales at the PSU farmer’s market.
