Max Holfert graduated from PSU with a degree in Natural Science. He has worked as a commercial fisherman, in the construction industry, and as a drafter at a local design firm. He currently owns and manages Building Forward LLC, a small green remodeling/building company in Portland. He is starting the MBA+ program at PSU to learn how to more effectively promote sustainable business models.

Jen ColemanJen joined OEC January 2009 after ten years in communications with the national nonprofit Environmental Defense Fund, headquartered in New York City. There, she helped EDF’s economists, scientists and attorneys find the words to reach diverse audiences and launched a nation-wide internal communications protocol. Before heeding the call of nonprofit work, Jen worked as a theater stage electrician, school bus driver, tutor, poet and college English composition teacher. Jen attended Beloit College and earned an MFA in creative writing from George Mason University.
