Lauren Roden

Community Volunteer Coordinator (AmeriCorps Confluence Environmental Center Member)

Lauren joined OEC in September 2011. She spent 2010 inspiring volunteers to protect wildlife as the AmeriCorps Volunteer Coordinator of Deer Flat National Wildlife Refuge. Before joining AmeriCorps, Lauren worked as an experiential education facilitator to help diverse groups across America and the UK reach for their goals. She will happily share stories of teaching rock climbing in London, singing and dancing in New Zealand and riding trains through Italy, Switzerland and Germany. Lauren holds a BA in Anthropology and Sociology from Miami University.
