Community Volunteer Coordinator (AmeriCorps Confluence Environmental Center Member)
Prior to joining the OEC in September 2012, Pablo traveled the world studying all manner of marine life. His previous work has taken him from the far reaches of the Aleutian Islands to the heart of the Gulf of Guinea. A native of Washington, D.C., Pablo received his B.A. in biology from St. Mary’s College of Maryland in 2008. He served as a research fellow to both the International Union for Conservation of Nature and the Potomac Conservancy in 2009 and 2010. Pablo is currently earning his graduate certificate in sustainability from Portland State University and applying to environmental law programs for fall 2013. In his free time, he enjoys running, climbing, cooking, sailing, and playing guitar.
