The Oregon Global Warming Commission is out with its legislative report card on the state’s efforts to combat greenhouse gas emissions, and the results are a mixed bag.

The Oregon Global Warming Commission is out with its legislative report card on the state’s efforts to combat greenhouse gas emissions, and the results are a mixed bag.

In some areas, we’re doing well. Oregon scored an A or an A- in energy efficiency, keeping urban footprints compact, establishing a Greenhouse Gas Leadership Recognition Program, developing manure-to-energy methods in agriculture, and conducting various greenhouse gas research efforts.
