Promoting Solutions
Oregon faces a tremendous challenge in addressing global warming.

By burning fossil fuels, humans are creating a thick blanket of greenhouse gases, trapping too much heat and disrupting Earth’s climate. Find out
how global warming is impacting Oregon, including our health, our economy, and our farms. But along with that challenge come opportunities. The Oregon Environmental Council is promoting policy solutions to global warming that will improve our quality of life and enhance our future prosperity, as well as providing
individuals and businesses with the resources they need to make a difference. Read more about
opportunities for Oregon to lead in implementing global warming solutions.
