OEC will have a presence at the 2nd Annual Welcome the Rain event. The Clean River Rewards, downspout disconnect, green streets, and other programs have created a huge demand for more information about ways to manage urban stormwater. In response to this growing desire for more information on the topic, the 2nd annual Welcome the Rain! event will be held at Sunnyside Environmental School. Welcome the Rain is a celebration of the joys of our rainy season as well as a “solutions fair” showing ways to solve some of the challenges rainwater brings to the urban environment.
