Corporate Gift Acceptance Policy

Oregon Environmental Council (OEC) receives financial support from a variety of sources for work that advances our mission. Those sources include individuals, foundation, agencies and corporations. We actively seek support form corporations with a demonstrated interest in conducting business in a way that improves the environment. We work to establish partnerships with companies that promote environmental responsibility and improve environmental performance while advancing our mutual interests. We normally accept general support from any source if it comes without conditions. However, to protect our integrity and the confidence of our other donors, we reserve the right to reject any support that could be seen to compromise our reputation, independence or effectiveness; establish a precedent that could be harmful to OEC; or allow our name or logo to be used in a manner that suggests endorsement of a particular company.
