Planned Giving

Shouldn’t the things you love about Oregon today, be the things you leave for your children and grandchildren tomorrow? Clean air and water, an unpolluted landscape and healthy food produced by local farmers are all part of Oregon’s heritage.

For more than 40 years, the Oregon Environmental Council has been working to safeguard these things that make Oregon, Oregon. With your help, we’ll continue to safeguard this great place for another 40 years and beyond.

Leaving a legacy gift by including the Oregon Environmental Council in your will or estate plans honors your commitment to protecting Oregon’s future and can provide savings on capital gains taxes and estate taxes.

There are several types of planned gifts to consider. To ensure that your estate plans meet your long-term income and family needs, be sure to consult with your attorney or financial advisor.

If you decide to include OEC in your estate plans, please let us know. We value the opportunity to express our gratitude in person and would like to invite you to join our Legacy Society.

To learn more about making a planned gift to the Oregon Environmental Council, please contact Teke Dillender via email or phone: (503) 222-1963 x114. She’d be happy to send you information on types of planned gifts to consider or schedule time to meet with you personally.
