The Mission

Oregon faces two major challenges—getting our economy back on track and building a clean energy future. Luckily, both share a set of common solutions:

• Cut our global warming pollution by shifting to a clean energy economy that will control prices and protect our children's legacy.
• Develop clean energy sources like wind, wave, solar and geothermal to create good, local jobs and reduce our dependence on dirty coal and foreign oil.
• Help our homes and businesses use energy more efficiently to cut our utility bills and restart our construction sector.
• Provide smarter transportation choices to reduce congestion and gas bills and make our communities healthier and more livable.

With the right investments and policies, we can put Oregon's economy back on track. We can create thousands of good jobs while protecting existing industries and vulnerable communities. And we can position Oregon to be a global leader in the transition to a clean energy future.
