Let's Take Action on BPA
OEC is working to close loopholes in our product safety system. But right now, we need your help to let your state representatives know that passing these laws should be a priority.
Every time we read the news, there's new evidence revealing loopholes in our product safety system.
During the 2009 legislative session in Salem, the Oregon Environmental Council will work vigorously to close those loopholes. We need your help in letting your state representatives know that passing these laws need to be a priority for them.
We've created a draft letter that you can customize and send them right now. It will be directed straight to your State Senator and House Representative. If you're not sure who your representative is, please feel free to find your state legislator and put their proper salutation in the letter - and to contact them directly as well. You might be surprised how much a phone call can do! Thank you!
Sincerely,
Renee Hackenmiller - Paradis, MPH., PhD., Program Director, Environmental Health.
