The Oregon Environmental Council is dedicated to the principle that an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. We're proud to work with the Oregon Medical Association, OHSU, the Oregon Legislature and others to create a healthier environment for healthier Oregonians. We work with health practitioners, researchers and patients understand the linkages between environment and health, and we provide tools and information from well-respected, science-based sources.
Our 2010 NW Environmental Health Conferencewill host leading scientists, researchers and health care professionals in the field of environmental health and will focus on stimulating robust dialogue regarding the impact of the environment on health and health care practices.
