China, flatware & linen:
Using your own plates and utensils will cut down on waste. You could ask friends and family to bring their favorite place setting and see what a colorful table you create.
Cloth tablecloth:
Provide a plain cloth tablecloth and fabric crayons; guests can create a custom tribute to the growing family. Or, choose a fabric that can become curtains or other materials for the nursery.
