*Clear View bottles were previously made of polycarbonate. However, bottles with manufacturing datesafter 6/15/05 are made of polypropylene. (parentsresource.gerber@gerber.com)
**Bottles made by the listed manufacturers, such as Gerber, can contain either bisphenol-A or polypropylene. A lack of labeling prevents consumers from discerning whether they have purchased a bottle containing bisphenol-A or polypropylene. As a general rule, the plastic making up the polypropylene bottles is cloudy and squeezable, whereas the polycarbonate plastic bottle containing bisphenol-A is generally clear and very hard. Above we have listed specific bottles that are made from
polypropylene.
