Love Your River
When you love something, you appreciate and enjoy it, care for it and protect it. Our rivers need some love.
When you love something, you appreciate and enjoy it, care for it and protect it. Our rivers need some love. Every one of Oregon's major rivers fails water quality tests designed to protect human health and fish and wildlife. We can change that. Love Your River unites Oregonians working for clean and healthy rivers.
Take the current challenge: Household toxic trash
You know how it goes—you’re not sure what to do with a household product that might be too hazardous to put in the garbage can, so it just ends up collecting dust in your garage or basement. Any responsible river-lover wants to make sure they don’t dispose of something improperly. Get the scoop on what to do with some of the most puzzling household toxic trash in this Love Your River challenge—and safely get that stuff out of your house before it breaks or spills.
Take this challenge and you could win a daypack from REI.
Pledge to do your part:
- Learn what goes where
- Clear out your nasty stuff
